The 5 star Schloss Wolfsbrunn was built in 1911 by the famous architect Emanuel von Seidl of Munich and was the home of Karl Georg Wolf who was a coal mine owner in the early 19th century. The castle is located in the wooded countryside of the ore mountain close to the art nouveau capitals Zwickau and Chemnitz and the Christmas region.
