The hotel Terra Mare is located on the beautiful island of Kefalonia-4 kilometers away from the center of Lixouri town-the second largest town of Kefalonia island. The hotel is located 200 meters away from the beach and the village of Agios Dimitrios which offers many taverns and bars. The Terra Mare Hotel was first built and opened its doors in 1989. It was constructed in a small village where people could enjoy a more relaxing and peaceful holiday. There are total of 12 buildings situated amongst 2000sq m of land. Terra Mare hotel offers both 64 bungalows and hotel rooms. All Terra Mare rooms were built according Kefalonia island traditional architecture and are surrounded by colorful gardens filled with flowers and fruit trees. All Terra Mare rooms offer 2 private verandas-one with view to the sea and one veranda with garden views. All main building rooms offer private shower-direct dial telephone-TV-Air-condition-tea/coffee making facilities-fridge and a mini bar. Daily maid service is also provided. At the disposal of the Terra Mare Hotel guests-are recreational facilities such as bars restaurants swimming pools and sport courts for tennis and valley ball. The visitors of Terra Mare can enjoy Greek nights with live music that are organized by the hotel every week. There is a main reception hall with full service bar and restaurant with giant terrace which can accommodate 200 people. It is also available for weddings and seminars. The hotel has big television with satellite available in reception hall. The hotel accepts pets as there are kennels.
