Villea Village is the perfect place for a wonderful vacation with sunshine and swimming, culture, fun and plenty of entertainment. Villea Village is a unique resort situated on the edge of a major agricultural area so it has the best of both worlds - retaining a village atmosphere whilst providing the necessary infrastructure that makes a perfect holiday experience. It has a choice of one bedroom and studio apartments all with either a balcony or terrace that mainly overlook the central garden. Built in an olive grove and these trees provide shade in the gardens and pool area and also the means to hang the hammocks - a great way to chill out on a hot day. The abundance of vegetation makes Villea feel quiet and peaceful even when we are full. All apartments have terrestrial television and direct dial telephone. An internet cafe and satellite television are available in the lobby.

The resort of Makrigialos stretches from the south coast resort of Agia Fotia in the West to the monastry of Moni Kapsa in the East and from the Libyan Sea to the 1200 metre high (4,000 ft) mountains of Orno Oros in the north. It lies in the South East corner of Crete, which is the largest of the Greek Islands and is renowned for its beautiful sandy shores, magnificent mountains, quiet fishing villages and friendly people. Makrigialos is an exceptional village situated on the edge of a thriving agricultural area and has a variety of tavernas, bars, restaurants and shops to suit most tastes and budgets. The small fishing harbour is only 900 mtrs from Villea. We recommend a car to make the most of this area as we are surrounded by beautiful countryside and unspoiled mountain villages.
