On the first leg of the Peloponnese prevails the rock of Monemvassia. A place alive full of history the Gibraltar of the Eastern Mediterranean as it was rightly named by the Byzantines Venetians Franks Crusaders who were its habitants through the centuries. Today the castle of Monemvassia is a Kastropoliteia where history and respect of the past coexist with the modern comforts a visitor seeks. In a magical location three hundred meters from the Castle we built the Malvasia Hotel.
