Corbett Park, The land of Roar, Trumpet and Song, Corbett National Park is one of the greatest National Parks in Asia with over 1300 sq kms of forests, hills and grasslands fed by a frisky river. Spread over an area of 13 acres the Corbett Hideaway is concealed in the thick of a mango grove, where in season, the mangoes hang ripe and luscious right against the door. Exotic mixed shrubbery, alive with flowers, is crossed by pebbled paths leading to charming cottages with open seating areas. The wonderful stillness is broken only by the sound of the Kosi River and myriad birds. Independently air conditioned cottages form a restful backdrop to verdant environs in 13 acres of area. Sloping tiled roofs, cool stone floors with throw rugs and block wood furniture allow maximum comfort while continuing the illusion of being in the wilds.The cottages are a great hideout for nature enthusiasts, researchers, writers, artists and folks in need of getting away. Restaurants and Bars at the resort serve excellent continental and Indian cuisine. Gurney House, a multi-cuisine restaurant serves a variety of Indian, Mughlai, Chinese and Continental cuisines. The High Bank, an open decked area adjacent to the restaurant over looking Jims Grill, a specialty grill house, located close to swimming pool is a round open machhan-like structure with stools around the center. The Tusker Bar is thematic bar which is located right next to the pool. It has a good collection of International and Local beverages.
