Kamandalu Resort and Spa is a five star boutique resort nestled in the emerald green rice terraces and the lush tropical mountains of Ubud; Bali; which comes to life like an enchanting Balinese Village. This idyllic retreat with 58 rooms is built in the traditional style of a Balinese village; which pleasantly blends into the surrounding terraced rice fields and tropical forests. Each villa is uniquely designed with spacious bedroom; indoor living space; outdoor shower and private garden courtyard. For the ultimate in luxury; some of the villas have private outdoor swimming pools and shaded *Bale Bengong* -Balinese-style day bed. All villas are air-conditioned and have either twin beds or king-sized four poster beds; well equipped bathroom with sunken bath and separate traditional outdoor Balinese shower in the villas. Kamandalu luxurious spa is located at the edge of a Bali mountain forest and complements the feeling of unspoiled nature. The restaurants are a culinary experience; serving a variety of tempting creations; from Bali rich traditional cuisine to Southeast Asian curries and international specialties Nature paths and viewing promontories around the hotel create access to the peaceful mountain views or rice terraces and fleets of majestic coconut trees. Within easy walking or biking access; are traditional villages with their own artistic style of painting; wood carving; handicrafts; dancing and music. There is a daily complimentary scheduled shuttle service from Kamandalu Resort to Ubud center and back.
