February 15th to June 14th 2012: Hotel will undergo renovations to 2 blocks of suites. The hotel will be operating with only 35 suites. The renovations will include new bathroom fixtures, new lighting and changes to air-conditioning system. There is no anticipated noise disturbance to hotel guests for the duration. February 20th to June 14th 2012: Hotel will build a new adult lap pool. Some noise may be observed during the preparation period. From 20th February a barrier will be placed around the perimeter of the work area to keep the site out of view and to minimize noise disturbances. The existing pool will be open and remains in full operation although the infinity view to the ocean will be temporarily disrupted. From 1st March, the sunset lawn area at the front of the hotel will be dug out in preparation for the new lap pool. Upgrading works to the north garden and the deck will be carried out concurrently during this period. A barrier will be placed from the edge of the existing pool to the Ocean Bar (right wing when facing the Indian Ocean). All guests will be accommodated in the left wing during this period. Guests will still enjoy the ocean-facing view and hotel will do all possible to minimize disruptions. February 15th to May 31st 2012: The Beach House will undergo renovations and will re-open June 1st 2012. The hotel will be reopened fully on the 15th of June 2012. From Feb 20th to May 31st 2012: Hotel availability is closed and on request basis only. ------------------------------
