About Villa Marsili Cortona
Villa Marsili is a 4star hotel very close to the historic center of the Etruscan and Medieval hill town of Cortona. The building originally an ancient 15th century Church was converted into a patrician Palazzo. The recent renovation has allowed the recovery of architectural and stylistic features lost over the centuries. Besides the charm of its history the building enjoys a scenic position and its rooms overlook the stunning landscape of Valdichiana with the Amiata and Cetona mountain; the Trasimeno Lake; the gentle outline of the hills surrounding the city walls and Cortonas steeples and towers. The hall and all bedrooms are finely and elegantly decorated and furnished with many antique period pieces. The same intimate atmosphere pervades the breakfast lounge; the sitting-room with fireplace and our fine outdoor garden terrace. Villa Marsili offers guests breakfast buffet with a rich selection of Tuscan specialties and everyday in the evening you may enjoy a complimentary aperitif. Additional Information; Children age 5 and under stay free in the room with parents and in existing bedding. Children age 6 to 12 pay 25 Euro per night.
