The elegant 3 star Martelli Hotel in Florence, housed in an ancient Medicean building in the historical centre of the city, has been completely renovated. The 52 rooms have a modern design, are in a silent position and are all equipped with private bathroom with hairdryer, adjustable air conditioning, colour TV, direct dial telephone, mini bar and safety deposit box. Some rooms feature original frescoed walls. It is believed that Caterina de Medici(1519-1589)slept in room number 47 on her visits to Florence. Both the living room and the breakfast room have maintained their original Florentine style and are equipped with ancient furniture and decorated with wonderful frescos on the walls. A private garage is situated 100 mt from the hotel. Qualified baby-sitters are provided upon reservation.
