About Residence Villa Sermolli
The villa of the 16th century is maintained in its original state and was carefully modernised in winter 2010/2011. Now it offers spacious rooms, thereof two suites and three apartments. The majority is furnished stylish, but provided with modern standard. All rooms have an own bathroom. Within the old walls surrounding the villa there stretches an affectionately well-kept park via several terraces with numerous orange and lemon trees. This is where a pool is also integrated which is not open to public view . A romantic arcade leads to the orangery which is suitable for festivities of all kinds. Near the house, guests may use a large sun terrace with panoramic view, also appropriate for festive events outside during summer. A further ivy-roofed terrace in front of the entrance serves as an ideal place for breakfast.
Residence Villa Sermolli is located in Buggiano Castello, an ancient fortified hamlet, perched atop a hill, in the heart of the Tuscan countryside. An excellent base from where to explore all of the region's most famous towns and cities, Villa Sermolli lies within easy driving distance of Lucca, Pisa, Montecatini, Pistoia and the great Tuscan capital, Florence. Buggiano Castello is a hill top medieval village with commanding views of the rolling hills and plains of Tuscany in the Lucca area.
