LOCATION: Pietre Nere Resort, which lies on the slopes of the Hyblaean Mountains, represents a pleasant oasis plunged in the peace and quiet of the countryside surrounding Modica, among little pitches of land bordered by the typical dry-stone walls; thanks to its strategic position, it is also the perfect starting point to discover the baroque side of the Val di Noto. THE RESORT: Pietre Nere Resort is a new building with wide and bright spaces which will surprise you for its refinement and the care for details, such as the backlit holes which enrich the pillars and the vertical surfaces of the hall. THE ROOMS:The hotel has twenty-eight rooms on two floors and two big suites set in a separated building. The rooms are spacious and bright and some of them also have a nice patio. A common feature is the chromatic choice: white, as a symbol of elegance and purity; the only clashing element is the bathroom wall which is covered by an oak boiserie.
The property is located 13 Miles SE of ORG-Ragusa Hotel located in Modica-75 miles to Catania airport. Out of the city traffic, but at a short distance from the commercial and historical centre, Pietre Nere Resort is easily accessible from any direction. To reach us from the Airport of Catania, take first the s.s. 114 to Siracusa and then the A18 Siracusa-Gela; exit at Rosolini and follow the S.S. 115 (direction Modica/ Ragusa). After Ispica, follow for Modica. Along the S.S 115 turn right following the directions for Pietre Nere Resort.
