About Palazzo Viviani Castello di Montegridolfo

Built on the XIII century, The Castello di Montegridolfo reopened in 1994, after a six year restoration. In the Borgo Antico, the aristocratic Palazzo Viviani offers 8 elegant bedrooms and wide common lounges. In the splendid gardens of Palazzo Viviani, beside the swimming-pool, you'll find the Casa del Pittore (The Painter's Home) featuring 7 comfortable bedrooms and the Sala dell'Agrumaia, ideal for meetings and private parties. Scattered in the most charming corners of the Borgo Antico are located 8 comfortable family apartments in country style; while the 30 modern rooms of the Borgo Nuovo (the New Village) recently opened, and equipped with its own meeting centre for workshops and conferences, lie at the feet of the Ancient Village. A variety of wine and gastronomic facilities and opportunities are available at the Borgo Antico of the Castello di Montegridolfo, starting from the elegant and intimate restaurant Il Ristoro, made from the wine cellars of the Palazzo Viviani, offering Haute Cuisine dishes. Another restaurant is the Osteria dell'Accademia, featuring traditional local dishes which can be enjoyed while sitting on a terrace with a sea view. During the warmer months, in the main square of the Borgo Antico, guests can have a pizza at the Ritrovo del Vecchio Forno. Continental buffet style breakfast is served at the Palazzo Viviani or the Sala dell'Agrumaia. Montegridolfo is the ideal departure point for excursions to the Medieval Village of Gradara, the Medieval and Renaissance town of Urbino, to San Marino - the word's smallest Republic and to the world famous beaches of Rimini, Riccione, Cattolica. LOCATED IN THE VALCONCA VALLEY, NEAR THE ADRIATIC SEA.
