About Relais dell Orologio
An impressive 14th century fortified manor house just steps from the Piazza dei Miracoli and the Leaning Tower, Relais dell Orologio has been sympathetically restored to retain many of its original features. It has a gourmet restaurant, a grand beamed lounge and a charming Italian garden. Pretty arches connect rooms with beamed ceilings painted with delicate motifs, while oil paintings, rugs and antique furniture complement the historic architecture. In contrast, the restaurant has a ceiling swathed in flowing fabrics, large windows that overlook the garden and chandeliers decorated with glass flowers. Visit the renowned Leaning Tower and the wonderful church of Santa Maria della Spina, only a few minutes walk away. Return for tea next to the crackling fire or, in summer relax on the terrace.
