We are placed in Via dei Coronari, one of the most ancient street in Rome. In 1300 during the Jubilee, this street was the way of thousands of pilgrims, directed to San Pietro, and for this reason was called Via Recta . This area since the beginning had a touristic vocation, being the most closed centre near the Navona Square and the Vatican, in fact it was plenty of restaurants and hotels which welcomed very famous characters such as Dante, Rabelais, Gogol and Goethe. Now the street is the site of antiques workshops and antiquarians. Within a few steps you can reach Piazza Navona, San Pietro, The Spanish Steps, The Foro Romano.
