The 4 Star Relais Villa Valfiore is housed in a renovated 19th century farmhouse; typical to the hills of Bologna. Although located in the tranquility of the countryside and surrounded by a large garden; it is only a few minutes drive from the medieval city of Bologna; the trade fair centre and the airport. The Villa has been completely renovated; yet maintains its original appearance. Great attention has been paid in minute detail to maintaining its original style. The scent of dried lavender in pots on each floor pleasantly fills the wellness area; the meeting room and the restaurant and permeates all the way to the rooms. The gardens with their cedar trees; pine trees and squirrels; stretch all the way to the pool area where one can reach the historic heart of the property; the little church of St. Sebastian and St. Rocco; built in 1604 to protect the fields and herds; and which is now restored. This little chapel can host events and intimate ceremonies in a unique environment. The meeting room can hold meetings for up to 40 people and is equipped with a microphone; plasma screen; laptop; projector; ADSL line for internet access; printer and fax machine; overhead projector and DVD player. All guest rooms have been elegantly furnished in order to offer guests the utmost comfort.
