The Verdura Golf and Spa Resort is a part of Rocco Forte Hotels - The first resort of Rocco Forte Hotels - 203 rooms and suites overlooking the sea - Two-championship 18 holes golf courses and a 9 hole golf course - 4000 Sqm Spa offering the ultimate in rest and relaxation The Resort, set amidst a 230 hectare estate, is situated in the south west of the island, 1hr 20 min drive from Palermo airport and close to Agrigento and the Valley of the Temples. Each of the spacious 203 rooms and suites has a sea view, and a private terrace or courtyard. The wide choice of restaurants offer exceptional menus using locally sourced fresh ingredients. The 4000 smq Spa offers a selection of treatments along with a terrace for outdoor treatments, relaxation area, gym, a covered swimming pool, thalassotheraphy pools, hammam and sauna. The resort also provides meetings or event spaces for up to 500 people. GOLF INFORMATION From the 12th of March until the 25th of March 2012 there is only one 16 Hole Golf Composite Course and one Short Course 9 Holes Open. This is due to the preparation for the Sicilian Golf Open Tournament. This will take place from the 26th of March until the 1st of April. During that week, we will only have one 12 Composite Holes open to walking and pull trolleys ( no golf carts ).
