Featuring the charm of a classic, centuries-old building and the advantages of a recent, careful restoration, Casa Imbastita is a perfect escape for the ideal Sicilian getaway. Use of building materials characteristic of the area, the splendid late-baroque architecture is still impressively intact. The house has been converted into three apartments, each equipped with all the amenities of a first-rate vacation rental. Located on a hill on the outskirts of the town of Scicli in the Noto Valley, the property is ideally located to offer panoramic vistas of the olive-grove dotted Sicilian landscape that stretch as far as the sea. The nicely-furnished garden offers a swimming pool, open from May through October. All three apartments can be booked simultaneously, provided accommodation for up to 12 people. A cleaning fee of euro 12 and a deposit of euro 150 required at check-in, to be paid in cash only. Hot water, heating and electricity charges are based upon usage and paid at the time of check-out. No after hours check-in is available. Sicily, the largest island in the Mediterranean, is blessed with a richness of tradition and culture that is distinctive and diverse.
