About Hotel Gattapone
Hotel Gattapone is set in a magical position below the massive castle Rocca Albornoziana which dominates the historic town centre. It looks out over a lovely green valley, straddled by the astonishing medieval bridge, Ponte delle Torri, which is one of the best known landmarks of Spoleto. The bridge is only a short stroll away. Named after the bridges architect, the hotel has only 15 rooms. It consists of an old villa where six standard rooms and two junior suites are located and a modern extension with a further 7 delightful suites. All the bedrooms overlook the valley. Below the two congenial bar and lounge areas, steps lead down to a flowery patio and lawned terraces where you can relax among the vines as you enjoy the view. The centre of town is only a few minutes walk away.
