During Summer; it is the ideal starting point for long hikes; bike rides and walks on the Ahrntals best paths and mountain trails in the Durreck Range and Zillertal Alps. In Winter; the hotel is perfect for athletic and romantic days in the Ahrntal. Two top modern ski areas; Speikboden and Klausberg; are just a few kilometres away and guarantee skiers; snowboarders; carvers and ski mountaineers a ton of fun with a fascinating natural backdrop. Winter hikers are also greeted with a great selection of varied winter hiking trails. And cross-country fans; whether beginner or advanced; will find easy to difficult trails in the entire Ahrntal - you wont be disappointed. One of the many cross-country runs passes directly behind Hotel Auren. After a day full of excitement and adventure in the fascinating Riesenferner-Ahrn Nature Preserve; spend time unwinding in our Wellness and Sauna area.
