The Futsukaichi Hot Springs are mentioned in the Manyoshu which is the oldest existing collection of Japanese poetry/ compiled some time after 759 AD during the Nara period. Daimaru Besso is located at Futsukaichi Hot Spring town. It is easy access to Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine/ Kyushu National Museum and many sightseeing spots in Fukuoka.
