About Unzen Miyazaki Ryokan
The traditional Japanese spirit/ natural hospitality is our creed. The Japanese garden and natural hot spring is the pride of this hot spring ryokan. Local seafood from Ariake sea and Tachibana Bay. Local Shimabara vegetables. A milky white hot spring taken from the Unzen source. The water is good for joint pain/skin problems/nerves disorders/ etc. This ryokan combines a traditional Japanese ambiance with strong resort hotel elements.
The Unzen Hot Spring is located at the foot of Mt. Unzen. In the area/ there is a place where high-temperature hot spring and steams spurt out which is called Unzen Jigoku -literally/ Unzen Hell- Because of the sulfur constitent/ plants cannot grow here and the atmosphere dense with steam makes you think as if it is a scene right out from hell. There also are many public baths and hot spring inns in the area. Situated in Nagasaki/ Unzen Miyazaki Ryokan is well placed such that guests can visit popular spots such as Glover Garden and Mt. Inasa. Dejima Museum has several interesting exhibits. One is an outdoor/ miniature replica of the original town.
