Tsubaki is reputed, without question, as one of Japan’s most famous, deluxe Ryokan (Japanese Traditional Inn). Tsubaki Ryokan is located in Okuyugawa which is nestled into the nape of mountains not far from to the famous Hakone Lakes area. Yugawara Onsen (Hot Spring), is just one hour train ride from Tokyo. With a wealth of history, the benefits of this Hot Spring have been the subject of accolade in Japanese songs for over 1000 years.
