Accredited Leading Golf Hotel. *CONSTRUCTION ADVISORY The Datai Langkawi will be expanding its room portfolio to include an additional 14 Beach villas. This expansion project will commence on 1 July 2011 and is scheduled to be completed by November 2012 As the Datai Beach Villa project is located away from the existing main building, villas and suites, there will be minimal noise and visual disturbance during the expansion process. *As part of the Teluk Datai Master Development Plan launched by the Prime Minister of Malaysia in December 2010, The Golf Club, Datai Bay will CLOSE the first nine holes on Saturday, 1st October 2011 whilst the second nine holes will be closed on Tuesday, 1st November 2011 for upgrading work and is expected to be completed by the second quarter of 2013. During this period, guests can still enjoy their golf experience at the Gunung Raya Golf Course* **As part ongoing improvements to The Datai Langkawis facilities, The Gulai House restaurant is currently CLOSED for relocation and will re-open at end of December 2011. During this time The Gulai House menu will be available at the Beach Club Restaurant from 630pm till 1030pm daily. All other food and beverage venues - The Dining Room, The Pavilion, The Beach Club Restaurant, The Lobby Lounge and The Beach Bar - remain fully operational** The Datai Langkawi is an idyllic natural retreat set within the depths of a centuries-old virgin rainforest on the north of Mat Cincang Mountain. The resort has its own private beach facing the Andaman Sea as well as top-class facilities and impeccable guest service. --------------------- As the Datai Beach Villa project is located away from the existing main building, villas and suites, we expect minimal noise and visual disturbance during the expansion process.
