Profiting from the unique and proven characteristics of the beach sand, the hot sand therapy is emphasized for improving countless physical conditions and for general wellbeing. A restaurant and a bar with a large terrace, as well as a snack-bar next to the beach, are the spaces for your meals.

It's the smallest inhabited island of the Madeira Archipelago. Donated in 1446 to Bartolomeu Perestrelo by D. Henrique, the Vila Baleira became a council in 1835. In 1996 it was elevated to the City of Porto Santo. The 9 Km beach is bathed by a calm and crystalline sea, whose temperature is pleasant in any time of the year. The therapeutic qualities of its sands are a fact scientifically verified year after year. The city?s historical centre, closed to traffic, its gardens and monuments and a big open air amphitheatre compose a very pleasant environment. The coffee shops and some bars, fringed by exotic palm trees, offer the tourists company and leisure.
