About Alexander House

Alexander House is situated in central St Petersburg, only a short distance from Theatre Square (site of the Mariinsky Theatre and the Conservatory). If you are coming by car for the first time, and you have not arranged an airport or railway station transfer with us, please note that our house can be reached either through Theatre Square, and along Kryukov Canal Embankment, or along the Fontanka River Embankment, at the corner with Kryukov Canal. If you are coming from the airport, the journey should take no more than 35 minutes; somewhat longer during rush hour. Take Moskovsky Prospect all the way to Sennaya Ploshad, then left, and along Ulitsa Sadovaya, and left at the Kryukov Canal Embankment. Nearest Metro The nearest metro stations are Sennaya Ploshad and Sadovaya. It is a very attractive walk from the metro to our house; there are various routes, and it will take you about 20 mins. If you do not want to walk, you can pick up a micro-bus at the corner of Sennaya Ploshad and Ulitsa Sadovaya.
