The Hermitage Museum is a 2 minute walk from our front door, and St Isaacs Cathedral is a 5 minute walk. All the major city centre tourist attractions are within easy walking distance. The area around the hotel is vibrant and lively and there are a multitude of restaurants, bars and shops nearby, including the famous department store Gostiny Dvor. The Mussorsky Theatre and the Philharmonic concert hall are a 10 minute walk. The Mariinsky theatre is a 30 minute walk, but also easily reached by buses 2,22,27 which depart from just in front of the Nevsky Inn.
