Hotel Espana 4* located in the historic center of Barcelona is considered a little jewel of the Modernism in Barcelona. It was originally opened in 1895 with the name of Fonda de Espana, and later on was renewed by the famous Modernist architect Lluis Domenech I Montaner . It has been totally renovated in 2010. The hotel offers 82 large and comfortable rooms that combine a modern design with the classicism of the buildings from the XIX century. At the same time the hotel has been equipped with the last technologies, design and comfort with the aim to offer the best and personalized service, becoming a reference for the 4* hotels in the old quarter of Barcelona. The awardwinning cheff Martin Berasategui will prepare his traditional dishes at the restaurant.
