About Hotel Cram
Hotel Cram, next to Casa Battlo and La Pedrera, and just a few minutes away from the cosmopolitan Las Ramblas, is an innovative boutique hotel that stands out in the center of Barcelona. The contrasts present in this hotel give rise to awakened emotions. The building presents a Modernist facade, starkly contrasting with the distinct character of the avant-garde interiors. From the dark halls, doors open onto luminous rooms offering a functional design. The interior design is modern, the materials and equipment of the utmost quality. The restaurant, Gaig, established in 1869, found its new home at the Hotel Cram, much to the guests delight. One of the most famous in the city, it was awarded a Michelin star thanks to the classical and modern dishes created by chef Charles Gaig. Note: City tax of 1,25 EUR per person / night from November 2012.
Barcelona is Cataluna's capital and is situated on the Mediterranean coast, between the rivers Llobregat and Besos. Its territory is divided into three well delimitated areas: the Collserola mountain range, the plane and the river deltas. The division of the city is rooted in its history. Ciutat Vella is the old city centre and the Eixample is where the city expanded after the destruction of its walls. The other districts correspond to the municipal areas that were situated around the old city and that became part of the city during the 19th and 20th centuries. Barcelona is a city where cultures mix to create a very cosmopolitan place. There are many museums and places that attract people from around the world such as the Dali or Picasso museums, the Sacred Family or the Guell Park, Battlo House or Mila House.
