This 5 stars hotel of 25 rooms is surrounded by a wonderful garden and wood with many oak and palm trees, the total area covers 385,000 square meters. The main building situated in a tranquil area and comprising twenty rooms with bathrooms en suite. This building was a home to Menorcan aristocrats before becoming a hotel in 1997. The ancient loft of the house on the second floor comprises five more rooms with communal lounge and beautiful sloping wooden ceilings which provide a very special and welcoming atmosphere. In a separate building next to the main one there are five Gran Suite with individual entrance and private garden. Each room is charmingly decorated in a distinctively Mediterranean style and is provided handsomely with Menorcan and English furniture dating from the 18th century to the present day. These delightful interiors were produced by the architect and decorator D. Pedro Mayans with the assistance of Dna. Carmen Murtra. Now devoted exclusively to the hospitality of our guests it features a bar, lounge, dining-room and restaurant. The original floor of the building is over two hundred years old. There is also an uncrowded area where you will be able too relax in the social club, swimming pool and prestigious restaurant. The Es Lloc restaurant offers exquisite food combining traditional Menorcan dishes with international cuisine, all accompanied by the fines wines and liquors from our cellar. The location offers an impressive panorama and is within easy reach of all the beaches on the north and south-west coast of the island. For those with little more energy all types of activities including horse-riding, water sports and cycling can be found nearby. Car hire is also available. Sights to be particularly recommended are the numerous monuments of architectural and prehistoric interest (1,000 -800 BC) and a visit to the old town of Ciutadella, a natural port, with its beautiful cathedral and palaces.
