LOCATION: The country finca Son Mayol is an old Majorcan farmhouse surrounded by farmland and almond and fig trees. The finca is located in an unique and tranquil landscape, near the village of Felanitx in the South-East Majorca. Felanitx is a typical island village where every Sunday a weekly market takes place and where you can find various original bars and restaurants. You should visit the 'San Salvador' abbey near the village providing panoramic views over the East coast and the surroundings. If youre looking for nightlife entertainment and good shopping possibilities, the coastal village of Cala D'Or is about 15 minutes away by car. During the summer season you can practise various kinds of water sport on the Cala D'Or beaches. Near the village lies the 18 hole golf course Vall D`Or and along the East coast you can take refreshing swims in the crystal clear water of uncountable small lagoons, the 'calas'. ROOMS: The country finca Son Mayol has been renovated with great care to create a real at home feeling. The whole finca is decorated and furnished in a rustic Majorcan country style. The old farmhouse was built in the 17th century; the old chapel belonging to the finca is dated back into the 12th century. Son Mayol offers to its guests 2 double rooms and 2 apartments. All rooms have en-suite bathrooms and central heating. The apartments have small kitchens and one apartment has a private terrace. DINING FACILITIES: The finca, furthermore, has an ample living room and a dining room with an open fire place situated in the old finca cellar. SPORTS & LEISURE: If you need to do something during your holidays, youre invited to take part in the finca labours and field works.
