About Hospederia Castillo Papa Luna

The hotel has been listed as a national monument since June 1931 and is located on a rocky outcrop on the highest hill in Illueca. Its construction during the 13th century was ordered by Juan MartA­nez de Luna whose son, Pedro Luna, gained a name in history as Benedict XIII, Pope Luna. This 3-storey hotel was renovated in 2006 and comprises a total of 26 rooms of which 2 are junior suites, 2 are suites and 2 rooms have been adapted to cater to disabled guests. Amongst the facilities at this air-conditioned historical hotel count a foyer with a reception desk, a lift, a bar, an A  la carte restaurant, a lounge, a cafA© and a breakfast. The conference and seminar centre has a capacity of 100 persons. A car park is on offer to those arriving by car .
