The building was constructed in 1850 and completely renovated in 1990. Formerly a city palace, the basic structure and noble classical style of the building have been completely preserved. Spread over 6 floors, the hotel has a total of 182 rooms, of which 159 are doubles and 23 are suites. There is a considerably large lobby with lifts, a charming glass roofed patio, hotel safes, a currency exchange desk, a cloakroom and a 24-hour reception. In addition the hotel has a cafA©, a homely bar, a pub and an air-conditioned a la carte restaurant with a separate non-smoking area.
