One of the newest hotels in Nykoping - true to the style of the past. Hotel Lanterna is situated in the beautiful Harbour area of Nykoping. You will be right on the waterfront but only five minutes walk from the town centre. Our family-owned hotel opened the doors in March 2008, but the interior has been designed in the charming old style of the turn of the last century. Each room has its own character with tastefully selected furnishings and colour scheme. Hotel lanterna is ideal if you are arriving at or leaving from Stockholm Skavsta Airport. All rooms are fitted with TV and have a spacious shower and toilet area. *please note room type C1S has shared bathroom facilities*. All rooms are fitted for wireless broadband. Hotel laterna has an ideal position from which to enjoy the life of the Harbour when it is at its best. The people of Nykoping and visitors alike are all drawn to the oasis during the warm months of the year. Restaurants and nightlife are just around the corner. A few minutes walk will take you to Nykopingshus, where the medieval banquet of 1317, Nykopings Gastabud, took place. Theatre entertainment is played here in July each summer. There are also wonderful walks alongside the water. Laternas garden restaurant is open from May to September. In Autumn, Winter and Spring the Harbour area is much quieter than in the summer months.
