Since 1922 Torpa has been a family-run quality hotel. One of those individual hotels in Sodertalje at that time when the town was a popular seaside resort for many summertime visitors, mostly from Stockholm. At the summertime guests sitting at the arbour enjoying their afternoon-coffee and the sea- view. It is popular to take a promenade to the beach and it was generally believed that the air here was healthy.
