Family run since 3 generations the Hotel Basilisk in Kleinbasel is only 100 meters from the Claraplatz and 10 minute walk from the Exhibition and Convention Center. The Old Town is reachable by ferry boat within 5 minutes from the nearby Rhine promenade or within 10 minutes walk. All guests get a mobility ticket to use the public transportation in Basel free of charge. With the booking confirmation you can reach the hotel free of charge from the Airport or from the train stations. All our rooms include bath or shower- safe- WC- direct phone and cable internet access at charge. Complimentary water is available in the room. Chilled beverages and snacks can be purchased at the front desk. Parking is available on request at a charge. Our prices include breakfast buffet- VAT and service and exclude city tax. Additional information- Children age 5 and under stay free in an extra bed in a room with at least one full-paying adult. Children age 6-12 pay CHF 20 in an extra bed in a room with at least one full-paying adult. Children over this age will be considered an adult. Only one extra bed is allowed per room. Extra beds need to be requested before arrival.
