Beckenried is situated in the centre of Switzerland and on the border of Lake Lucerne (Vierwaldsti??ttersee), 10 km (20 minutes by car) from the city of Lucerne and 90 km (60 minutes by car) from Zurich international airport. 13 top ski areas are nearby. From Lucerne: Highway A2/ E35, direction Gotthard, take exit 34 Beckenried Nord. On the main road turn right, direction Beckenried. 70 m after the Seehotel Sternen, take a sharp right turn, direction "Oberdorf". After the left bend at the chapel continue for another 300 m and see the red house to you right.
