The 3 star Guaradaval hotel is a historical and romantic place that was built in the 17th century as two houses. The massive walls have provided security for 300 years. Since then the hotel has combined distinct comfort with true personal hospitality and offers a bright and cheerful atmosphere characteristic of this area. The hotel offers view down into the valley and up to the peaks of Lischana a mountain that is one of the most beautiful sights in Engadine. In winter the area is covered in deep snow inviting beginners and expert skiers alike with its ski slopes and cross country trails. For the rest of the year all recreational possibilities such as hiking; swimming; mountain biking; paragliding and canoeing are available. All rooms are beautifully decorated with a cozy siting area. Amenities include cable TV; radio; phone and bathroom with shower or tub plus hairdryer. Rooms with balcony are available on request subject to availability. The property is closed for business during the year from the end of October until the middle of December and from April to May. The restaurant offers daily hotel menu as well as an A la Carte menu. The hotel has free on site parking plus garage parking on request only at a cost of 8 CHF per day. Do not forget to watch the sunrise on our terrace a great start to the day. Additional Information; Children age 2 and under stay free in the room with parents and in existing bedding-Children age 3-7 receive a 50 pct reduction-Children age 8-12 receive 30 pct reduction-Children over this age will be considered an adult
