About Hotel Caprice
Stunning mountain and valley views from sun-kissed terraces and dramatic picture windows await you at Hotel Caprice, a Swiss-chalet boutique retreat 400 metres above the Lauterbrunnen Valley amidst excellent hiking and skiing country. Inside this alpine retreat, you will find a decor comprising lots of natural wood with spacious, light and airy rooms, all decorated in warm, subtle tones. Relax on your balcony and marvel at the incredible view of the Jungfrau mountain range. Outside, the superb ski slopes and Wengernalp Railway, which provides access to many attractions, are only steps away. After a long day on the piste, sit outside on the restaurant terrace and dine on fantastic French cuisine. Remain outside for a nightcap as you admire the night sky or on chillier evenings, move inside and sit among the low tables and plush furniture of the lounge bar as you listen to music.
Built in 1989, The Caprice hotel is in one of the most beautiful locations in Wengen. It is four storeys high with unrivalled views of the breathtaking Jungfrau mountain range as well as the Lauterbrunnen valley. The hotel is located near the centre of town and a stone throw away from sports facilities, the ski slopes and the railway station. The golf resorts of Interlaken and Thun are also only a short train ride away. Wengen is a car free village located in the Bernese Oberland. The only access is the cogwheel train from Lauterbrunnen (15 minute journey). The local train network connects to the Swiss federal network at Interlaken east.
