About Hotel Wengenerhof
The Wengener Hof is one of the most venerable hotels in the world famous Summer and Winter resort of Wengen. It was built just before the turn of the century as a small boarding house and was always extremely popular with visitors to Wengen because every effort was made to keep up with modern comforts and to provide a discerning clientele with a consistently high standard of service, accommodation and cuisine. To this day, the Wengener Hofs policy is to offer its holiday guests a comfortable yet elegant home from home and not to slavishly follow the latest fashion trends in the hotel. The Wengener Hof occupies the best location in Wengen. It stands in its own woods and magnificent, extensive gardens which are a mass of blossom in summer, and has as incomparable view of the Jungfrau massif, the Breithorn chain and the whole Lauterbrunnen Valley. Though it is just a few steps from the village centre, the hotel is absolutely quiet at all times of the day and night. And Wengen is virtually traffic free. The village centre and Mi??nnlichen cablecar is just 3 minutes, and the railway station 5 minutes walk away on virtually level ground.
