Sumengen is an old Ottoman House renewed in 1987 and converted in to a charming hotel in Sultanahmet in the center of the old city of Istanbul. Hotel Sumengen has a panamoric view of the Sea Of Marmara, Bosphorus and the Asian Side Of Istanbul. It is located very close the Hippodrome Square and Obelisk Column, Blue Mosque, St Sophia, Topkapi Palace, Basilica (underground) Cistern, Grand (Covered Market) Bazaar, Turkish and Islamic Art Museum, Mosaic Museum, Archaeology Museum and many other historical monuments. The hotel has a historical Turkish bath (hamam) used by old inhabitants of the traditional Turkish Konak(Mansion). Also there are interconnected family rooms with private bath and WC suitable for guests with children. All of our 30 rooms are equipped with private bathroom (shower & WC), direct dial telephone, air conditioning, TV satellite system, minibar, central heating and hair-dryer.
