Originally, the Georgian House was built as a private home, and although restored in some areas all the Periodic charm has been maintained throughout. Altamount House is set within mature woodlands and beautifully peaceful gardens in the heart of Perthshire and welcomes guests from near or afar. Although only a 5 minute walk from Blairgowrie town centre, the hotel is set in very quiet and secluded grounds, which makes it a perfect venue for Weddings, Conferences or just a romantic break for 2. Bedrooms are individually styled, comfortably furnished and decorated to compliment the Georgian Period of the house, combined with a few modern touches to ensure a relaxing and enjoyable stay. All Rooms have a private Bathroom and Shower room, toiletries, TV, Coffee and Tea making Facilities and complimentary mineral water, ironing facilities, Free WiFi and are spread across three floors to enable access on the ground floor for guests with walking difficulties. The Restaurant has an enviable reputation for its traditional and modern cuisine.
