About Hotel du Vin Brighton
Hotel du Vin Brighton is situated in the Lanes conservation area, a stones throw from the seafront. Its 37 bedrooms and suites are housed in a collection of eccentric, gothic revival and mock Tudor buildings erected, appropriately, by a wine merchant on the site of an old Brighton inn. Among many interesting features are the heavily carved staircase and bizarre gargoyles, whilst the original double-height hall now houses the wine bar overlooked by the billiards and cigar gallery, the hotel also houses our trademark bistro and a walled courtyard. . Open seven days a week for lunch and dinner, the Bistro offers a menu rooted in classic European cuisine with a contemporary edge. Here you will find ?simple classics? that change seasonally, with our head chef adding their own selections daily, all supporting our philosophy of using the finest and freshest local produce, cooked simply, priced sensibly. . Our extensive and eclectic wine list is a key feature of the hotel. In addition to the main list, which includes an impressive array by the glass, there is a small daily selection of good value wines to complement the menu. Our Head sommelier and team are always happy to give friendly, knowledgeable advice.
