About The George Hotel
In 1970 the Willgoose family transformed the Hotel adding an annex and converting the old stables into a bar and functions suite, adding a restaurant and a Scotch Bar. Here at The George we try to make your stay as relaxed and undisturbed as possible. We have single, twin and double bed rooms all equipped with TV, razor point and tea/coffee making facilities. The accommodation is all in a separate block away from the road and patio ensuring your stay is as peaceful as the country side allows. The George is famous for its steaks which are hung on the premisis to get that added flavour and can be cut to any size. We have an extensive menu that offers a wide variety of succulent dishes to tantalise your tastebuds. We cater for both vegetarians and children.
