The newly built 2004 Saint Gregory Hotel is situated in Shoreditch, 6 minutes walk from Bishopsgate and known as the *Creative Capital* of London. Even as recent, when it was run by the Kray Twins, the last occupants of the *Tower*, and such a view of Tower Bridge, when their gangland empire ended in the 60s. However, if it is the tourist areas of the West End you seek, then a short underground train journey of 5 stops, 12-15 mins will see you into the heart of Oxford Street, with Bond Street and Regent Street a short walk.
