Originally two detached Victorian villas, the Lodge hotel elegantly blends tradition with modern as the villas are now joined together with a reception building adorned with a unique and contemporary red cedar louver facade. To the rear of the property are the gardens and a conservatory where breakfast is served.Inside the Library room offers a romantic dining experience surrounded by over 850 vintage leather bound books, an original Victorian fresco ceiling and crystal chandeliers. The room is perfect for private dining.The more contemporary style lounge offers comfy sofas and large TV to watch the sports channel, and trendy faux cowhide covered bar stools at the bar.Most of the 55 en-suite bedrooms are doubles with some twin and family rooms. All furnished in a contemporary style and with free Wi-Fi, writing desk, flat screen TV, luxurious Hypnos bed with hypo-allergic duvets and pillows, Elemis toiletries, tea/coffee making facilities and iron with ironing board.
