The Beaulieu Hotel is located in the pretty village of Beaulieu is close to Lymington and Lyndhurst and has in the past been described as the Historic heart of the New Forest, as the villages origins date back to the 13th century. The focal point of the village of Beaulieu is the Beaulieu Abbey, founded in 1204 and thriving until 1538 when Henry the Eighth ordered the destruction of religious buildings, under orders this building remained and became the home of the Montagu Family, who remain in ownership today. The 8,000 acre estate owned by the Montagu Family hosts the British National Motor Museum popular with children and adults and known as one of the finest motor museums in the world.
