Grey Street Hotel is situated on Grey Street, named as one of the worlds most beautiful streets. Graceful Georgian architecture arcs from the hotel at the botton of Grey Street, to the magnificent Theatre Royal at the top. Whilst Newcastle has enjoyed a cultural revolution, this part of the city is the true heart for attractions, dining and entertainment. Literally within a 500 metre circumference of the hotel you will reach some of Newcastles finest attractions like the Theatre Royal, Baltic Centre, Opera House, The Sage Gateshead, Millennium Bridge, Laing Gallery, rail and Metro links, Eldon Square Shopping Centre. Whilst going a little further out, you will find Newcastle Racecourse, Newcastle United Football Club, Hancock Museum, Gateshead International Stadium, Metro Shopping Centre, Angel of the North, Beamish Open Air Museum, Hadrians Wall, Segedunum, Saltwell Park. What most people visiting the North East often forget, is how beautiful the coast is and during your visit our recommendation is to fit this in as it is a short ride on the Metro or bus
