Accommodation at The Beeches Hotel is in three separate grade 2 listed Victorian Houses of character. All three houses have been sympathetically restored and extended to enhance their original charm. The main Beeches building with modern extension, the Plantation and the Governors House form a triangle surrounding 3 acres of charming Victorian gardens. We are conveniently situated close to the city centre yet with peaceful, leafy surroundings. All main transport routes in and out of the county are just a short car journey away from the hotel. All bedrooms are en-suite and non-smoking. There is a selection of single, double, twin and superior double rooms split between the 3 separate houses. In addition we have a superior double suite with large lounge area and conservatory in addition to a king size en-suite bedroom. There is a quiet residents lounge and sunny patio overlooking an additional garden where guests can enjoy a sense of space and tranquillity. The AA rosette award winning restaurant serves modern British and International cuisine using the finest local produce, cooked fresh to order. We have attained a Silver award for quality from the English Tourist Board, graded AA 3 star and are proud to be Johansens and Good Hotel guide recommended. With the help of our catering staff we set high standards to try and create a friendly, informal atmosphere in this unique location close to the city centre. The Beeches Hotel is situated conveniently between the Norwich inner and outer ring roads. Only 10 minutes stroll from the bustling city centre with the cobbled streets, Market Place and busy night life; yet only a short drive away from all main transport routes out of the county, being the perfect choice for both leisure and business travellers. The Earlham Road is one of the main residential roads leading into the city centre, yet the hotel is peacefully set within 3 acres of Victorian Gardens. The historic English Heritage Garden is thought to be the only private garden in the country with a grade 2 listing. Only 5 minutes drive out of the city centre from the hotel guests are able to access the Norfolk and Norwich University and BUPA Hospitals, The John Innes Centre and the University of East Anglia.
