About The Bartley Lodge Hotel
Bartley Lodge was built in 1759 as a hunting lodge for the founder of the new forest Hounds. No expense was spared on the design and the craftsmen, who lovingly undertook the superb interior using only the finest of English oak and other materials. Today Bartley Lodge is a very fine listed building and upon entering you will be welcomed into the grand oak paneled hall with its minstrels gallery and fireplace. There are 31 bedrooms all of which have en-suite bath and shower or shower facilities, colour television, direct dial telephone, tea and coffee making facilities and many rooms enjoy uninterrupted views of the grounds. Leisure facilities include an indoor pool and sauna. The Crystal Restaurant, which has been awarded an AA Rosette, is a truly beautiful and elegant dining room offering a superb varied menu. Bartley Lodge is a most civilized retreat in a rural setting, giving you the best of today with the charm of yesterday. Please Note that Bartley Lodge operates a non-smoking policy throughout the hotel.
