There is two dining options, either the contemporary chic of the AA 2 rosette Ivy Restaurant serving a fabulous menu of dishes which make good use of local seasonal ingredients or the relaxed and informal New York Grill which offers a range of succulent juicy steaks, ribs, fish and salad dishes. Historic York is a vibrant city with excellent road and rail links to most major towns and cities in the UK. There are frequent rail services to London in 2 hours and Edinburgh in 2.5 hours and it is a perfect base from which to explore the beautiful Dales, Moors and Coastline of North Yorkshire.
